The Owen Brown Community Association is a non-profit civic organization whose purpose is to promote the health, safety, common good and social welfare of its residents. The association is managed by a Board of Directors which currently has five members who serve two year terms. The Village Board is elected by the members of the association. The Village Board carries out its duties with the assistance of volunteers and a paid staff located at the Owen Brown Community Center (OBCC) at 6800 Cradlerock Way. The Village Board generally meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Elkhorn Room of the OBCC, During the months of July and January they meet on the third Tuesday of the month. No meetings occur in August. Residents are encouraged to attend and speak out on any issues of concern. 

The Columbia Council Representative is our elected representative to the Columbia Association Board of Directors, and also serves on the Owen Brown Village Board of Directors. The representative serves two-year terms.
